New modular and extremely flexible battery mounting system. The interchangeable battery holders can be changed quickly and easily. The electrical contact to the battery body is established via the so-called pogo pins. A special coding of the pogo pins makes it possible to identify the battery type and, if present, to communicate digitally with the battery.
